In class: Meet in CCLI. Access this activity file <Practicing with Audio and.rtf>, and complete the tasks listed therein to get acquainted with Audacity and iMovie or Movie Maker for the "What is Style?" assignment.

To complete your "What is Style?" project, you will also need to review and practice the tasks included in the following handouts: downloading audio, downloading still images, and downloading video,

Also, to make sure you know how to cite electronic materials (in the credits of your "What is Style"? assignment go to the following sites:

This site lists some rules for citing online media, with examples for the citation of film, radio, TV, and online media.

This site contains some information about citing multimedia (audio and video including online) sources using MLA style.

Sometime today, reserve a digital audio recorder and mic or a digital video camera (on the master schedule outside my office, WAHC 310).

Later, at the appropriate time and day, come by and check this equipment out so that you can complete interviews for "What is Style" assignment.
