Stephen Anderson - PresidentStephen Anderson, President of the STC Student Chapter, is in his second year as an STC major at Michigan Tech. In addition to his involvement in the chapter, he has stayed active by serving as the News Editor for the Michigan Tech Lode and Editorial Director for the STC Arts Enterprise. Stephen also serves as a youth soccer referee in the local community and as a youth helper in his local church. His hobbies include spending time with his girlfriend, playing and watching sports, and sleeping.
 Belle Wirtanen - Vice President/TreasurerOriginally from Hancock, Michigan, Belle chose to attend Michigan Tech because of the STC program. She currently a senior majoring in Scientific and Technical Communication with a minor in Communication Studies. She has also been able to enjoy her experience in the program, while learning valuable skills she hope to utilize when she graduates this December. She has been Treasurer of the MTU Student Chapter of STC since the spring of 2007 when the chapter was restarted. Cassie Brabon- Secretary/WebmasterCassie Brabon is in her fourth year in college, with two of them devoted to the STC Program. She is the Secretary and Webmaster for the STC Chapter and also works for the Michigan Tech Lode as a writer and a copyeditor. She has also participated in MTU's Enterprise program while on campus by participating with the Professional Communication Arts Enterprise and the Husky Game Development Enterprise. She will be graduating from MTU in May 2009.  Marika Seigel - Faculty AdvisorMarika Seigel has served as faculty advisor to the chapter since 2005. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Humanities, where she teaches courses in technical communication, usability, and rhetoric. |
