Humanities Digital Media Zone (HDMZ)
120 Walker Building
The HDMZ is a computing, language resource, and media production facility located on the first floor of the Walker Arts and Humanities Building (enter on the North or South hallways). It serves Humanities majors, ESL and graduate students, as well as students registered in designated Humanities and modern language courses. The HDMZ features Macintosh and PC computers with an assortment of digital media software including Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro. Additionally, digital media equipment and resources may be checked out by HU majors, graduate students, and students in some courses. Modern language and ESL media and materials are also available for checkout.
Humanities majors, IESL students, Modern Language course students and those enrolled in certain HU courses have 24/7 swipe-card access to this lab. During consulting hours, students may check out resources for courses and receive other assistance from our consultants and staff. To reach a consultant on duty, call 487-HDMZ (4369).
