Kurt Paterson is an assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering and co-advisor to the Michigan Tech Student Chapter of Engineers Without Borders. His teaching and research areas include international sustainable development engineering, public health as affected by air quality, and significant learning experience design. His current projects focus on indoor air quality in the developing world and designing life-enhancing educational programs.
