Writing Center
ESL students have access to the the nationally recognized Michigan Tech Writing Center, where they can get help with writing, reading, or work on speaking with a Writing Center tutor. Tutors are undergraduate and graduate students who are native speakers of English.
Humanities Digital Media Center (HDMC)
Students use the HDMC to write papers, to use the computer “reader” to listen to readings, and to practice grammar on the many programs available to them. There are stations for listening, for recording speaking and for conversation practice with a tutor.
