SMILE: Summer Intensive Language Experience
Track B (June 30-August 15, 2008)
Michigan Tech's SMILE program is designed for international students only. The SMILE program is an intensive summer English language and American culture course. Upon successful completion of the course, students may continue studies at Michigan Tech. Participation is required for all conditionally accepted students scoring below 173 on the computer-based TOEFL and is highly recommended for all new international students who want to improve their English before taking academic courses.
