Our Coaching Staff
Our coaches comprise of both graduate and undergraduate students. Currently, we have 23 undergraduate and 4 graduate RTC (Rhetoric & Technical Communication) coaches. Our undergraduate coaches are from a variety of majors from the engineering, sciences, business, and the humanities disciplines.
We have 3 coach-education classes which meet weekly, one for the new coaches and two for the experienced coaches. Our coaches' diverse voices incorporate ideas from numerous religions, cultures, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, races and economic backgrounds and bring continued renewal and transformation into the work of the Center.
We look for coaches who exhibit competence, approachability, sensitivity, openness, and empathy.
