Coming to college with the knowledge that everyone is counting on me has been a burden I’ve had to look past.  Just the thought of my parents anticipating my accomplishments, in and after college, is intimidating.  I feel as if I’m going to school for everyone else.  Being away from my family and having this burden on my shoulders, I finally decided that I needed to look on the bright side.  My siblings no longer had to put up with me, I’m going to be far away from them for a change, and I’d be going to school to establish my future.  Well, that’s almost the bright side.  Thinking in these terms made me realize that my family would have to go on with life without me, and I without them.  College can be the best years of your life, or the worst.  It all depends on who you want to look at life.  And most of the time, I look at life with a smile!
