The Troupe! BATHROOM

Games, Schmames!

VOICES ("Dubbing"):
This game must be played with an even amount of people that work in pairs: one performer on-stage to act without speaking, and another performer off-stage to perform the "voice." This game calls for a strong sense of focus on the "where" and the other actors on-stage, not to mention the "voice" from off-stage.

Two actors will start a scene based on a "Where" given by the audience. Off-stage, two more performers will do the "voices" of the on-stage performers. It's important to stay physically "busy" in the scene so that you don't quite literally become a "Talking Head." Although this game has a possibility of coming off like a bad "Godzilla Vs. Gamera Take On Gumby Vs. Barney" movie, it can often be quite entertaining for the audience and a good exercise for developing trust between performers and a sense of "multi-tasking."
