I am originally from France, more specifically from Alsace, a beautiful little region next to the German border. I'm currently living in Houghton (Michigan) where I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Rhetoric and Technical Communication program at Michigan Technological University.
Before moving to the Upper Peninsula, I was teaching general and French linguistics at the Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg, France.
