Victoria (Vicky) Bergvall is an associate professor of linguistics. She teaches and conducts research on topics in discourse analysis, critical and multimodal discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, gender and diversity studies, endangered languages, and language and mind.

She is the Past-President of the International Gender and Language Association (IGALA); see the IGALA webpage.
