creating a class listserv

Class listservs allow instructors to have easy email access to all the students enrolled in their classes. Likewise, students have easy access to one another by email. Please note that messages sent to a listserv address (e.g., "hu-101-17-l" are sent to each and every person subscribed to the listserv. To set up a listserv, head to: http://majordomo.mtu.edu and follow the steps provided.

Some general tips:

It usually takes one to three days to process your request and to create the listserv. You should receive confirmation of listserv creation via email. If you do not receive confirmation, or if you have any problems related to your listserv, <contact majordomo-owner@mtu.edu>.
