Now in its sixth year, this is a small, intensive, hands-on two-week seminar-workshop that uses new media production as a form of inquiry and learning.

Participants learn graphics and authoring software for composing multimodal texts. They use those texts — as well as student- and commercially-produced new media pieces — as grounds for discussing and developing compositional and rhetorical approaches for teaching both the interpretation and the development of new media texts in writing-intensive classrooms.
