We are such stuff as our narratives are made of... Keeping the faith ethnographic

Faith negotiates a constant tension between empirical reality and ineffable possibility, between what we do and the great  unspoken mystery of what it all may “mean” or be “about.” Identities are similarly constructed, including ethnographic identities.  In my talk I’ll highlight some of what “keeping the faith ethnographic”has meant to me and my work and my identity, but perhaps more importantly, what the narrative trajectories that emanate from that tension might mean for future ethnographic projects.
